Hank

I adopted an older dog in the spring; my first pet since I was very young. Having very little experience with training a dog (or even knowing what to expect upon bringing him home), I called the Waggers' Club to get some tips. Not only did Amber give me great advice on how to prepare for introducing my new dog to my house and life, she met me at my house when I came back from picking him up, and walked with us around the neighborhood.

We found that he had never been taught even basic commands such as sit and stay. He was hell on a leash, pulling to the point of choking himself. By the end of the first night, Amber had him sitting on command.

Now, Hank goes out daily with his friends from the Waggers' Club. His leash manners are steadily improving (with consistent coaching from Amber), and he'll sit, lie down, and stay. It's great knowing while I'm at work he's not just sitting at home, but getting exercise, socialization, and training. It also helps to have a resource I can call and consult when I have questions about his behavior, and how to manage it.

I can't recommend the Waggers' Club strongly enough. I know Hank is a happier dog being a member.

Amber is our very best friend in the whole world! Without her, we would be stuck at home all day, getting fatter than wealready are! She takes us on lovely, long walks, introduces us to new friends, and always makes certain we are safe and happy and healthy. She even leaves thoughtful notes for mom everyday, so that mom can share in our afternoon fun. She also gives mom sound advice, which is always welcome and most helpful. We just don't know what we would do without her, and we want to her (and you) to know how much she means to us.
